J. Robert Monroe, Jr., MD

Dr. J. Robert Monroe, Jr. was born in Greenville, South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Furman University and completed his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, where he also completed his internship in surgery and residency in urology.

Dr. Monroe received second prize in the Montague Boyd Prize Essay Contest at the Southeastern AUA meeting in April of 1989. He presented his publication orally at the National AUA meeting in May of 1989.

Dr. Monroe is a member of the Greenville Medical Society, American Medical Association, American Urological Association, American Board of Urology, Southern Medical Association, SC Urological Association, and American Urological Association.
