Samuel P. Sterrett, DO

Dr. Samuel P. Sterrett was born in Lubbock, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO with cum laude distinction. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Following residency, Dr. Sterrett completed a fellowship in robotic surgery, laparoscopy and endourology while serving as a clinical instructor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison, Wisconsin.

Dr. Sterrett is a member of the American Urological Association, Endourological Society, Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, and South Carolina Medical Society.

He has given numerous presentations and published several articles, book chapters, and abstracts in the field of general urology as well as robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He and his wife enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities including running, cycling, hiking, and golf.
